Redesigned Packaging Successfully Realigns with New Sherex Branding

Recently, Sherex Fastening Solutions, a manufacturer of fastening systems and products for a number of different markets including; aerospace and defense, agriculture and heavy trucks, selected Abbey Mecca & Company to help redesign some of its packaging.

Sherex updated their brand design and asked Abbey Mecca to align their product packaging with their new branding.


The original package design was inconsistent with the Sherex branding and image (orange and black color scheme, generic fonts).  Additionally, the package didn’t communicate the attributes Sherex hoped to leave on its customers – specifically – quality, modern, innovative and reliable.


The redesigned packing successfully realigns the packaging with the new Sherex branding while presenting a more attractive overall look.  The metallic finish on the header contrasted with the red footer and the product image is brought closer to product name creating a seamless flow of information for the eye to process.

Good design in products and packaging is a competitive advantage.  For Sherex, we took the redesign well beyond the packaging. We also updated product instruction manuals and product label to unify the graphics across all elements.
