Fantastic Sams WNY is comprised of 17 local salons in the Western New York region. While Fantastic Sams has been around since 1974, the company went through an aggressive rebranding a few years ago. Abbey Mecca was chosen to be the agency improve efforts to display Fantastic Sams’ new branding in the Western New York market.
Abbey Mecca currently manages Fantastic Sams WNY’s digital (including social media), traditional marketing, and media buying and planning.
First, we developed a landing page for Fantastic Sams WNY that is consistent with Fantastic Sams corporate branding, and the page serves as a hub for promotions, communications and local events. With a landing page in place, our digital team developed graphics and digital banners ads to be displayed on the site.
Additionally, our digital marketing team developed an integrated social media approach utilizing paid social media posts designed in-house for “promoted” or “boosted” posts, and organic social media posts for the Fantastic Sams WNY social media accounts.
For the Back-To-School campaign, our media department developed a plan to engage our client’s target audience through Pandora and Facebook – and it was a success, as the landing page site traffic increased by 1000% during the campaign.
In addition to managing the Fantastic Sams WNY landing page and digital marketing, we also lead an employee promotion known as the “Stylist Spotlight”. The “Stylist Spotlight” features an outstanding stylist in the Western New York area and the stylist’s profile is featured on the landing page and social media accounts for all to see.
