Today we’re celebrating and congratulating Melissa Keith, media director, as she marks 15 years with the agency. “Without question, Abbey Mecca is a better agency because of Melissa.” commented Dan Mecca, president for Abbey Mecca.
Melissa joined Abbey Mecca in 2006 as an administrative and media assistant. Working alongside the media director, Melissa learned the business and was promoted to media buyer in 2010 and then to media planner / buyer in 2015. In 2020, she was named to her current role as media director for the agency.
Working first with traditional media, Melissa was instrumental in leading the agency into digital media and incorporating digital media into client plans. With the evolution of digital media, Melissa has continuously brought new opportunities and solutions as well as reporting tactics to the agency and clients. “As media director, Melissa collaborates with staff, media representatives and clients. Everyone enjoys working with her – her attitude, talent and dedication to the job are incredible.” added Dan Mecca. “Abbey Mecca and our clients are lucky to have Melissa on the team.”
More congratulations are in order. Also this week, Melissa graduated from Leadership Buffalo Class of 2021 Rising Leaders. The Leadership Buffalo Rising Leaders is a year-long program that runs from January through December each year. Members meet monthly for full-day sessions as well as opening and closing retreats. The program is designed for individuals from corporations, small/entrepreneurial businesses, civic and community organizations and non-profits who are up and coming in their careers. The program helps to prepare them to lead as they mature in their field. Way to go Mel!
