2019 marked the 50th anniversary for Abbey Mecca & Company.  A significant milestone that warranted a celebration recognizing our founders, our clients, employees and vendors.  The celebration year was punctuated with a cocktail reception on August 29th.  We were honored to host many current and former clients, employees – past and present, former interns, and vendor partners that have helped the agency by delivering exceptional service over the years.

A highlight from the evening included special recognition of long-standing clients. Valu Home Centers and the Arena, Ervolina and Amico Families, The Original Pancake House and the Jewula Family,  Curtis Screw Company / Sheldon Precision and the Hoskins Family, Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center, Catholic Charities of Buffalo, and Solar Liberty Energy Systems were all recognized.

In a surprise presentation, agency staffers Melissa Keith, Elizabeth Ervolina and Paul Maurer presented a special proclamation by Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown that established Thursday, May 29th, 2019 as Abbey Mecca Day in Buffalo, New York. The staff worked behind the scenes for months to make the proclamation a reality.

The celebration perfectly captured the personality of our brand with attention to detail and care that made the event memorable for all that attended. We know some could not attend and they were certainly missed.

As we look ahead, we’re are excited with the prospects for the agency, our employees and our clients as we work together to help good brands become great brands through creativity, innovation and hard work. Thank you to our founders, clients, employees and vendors and here’s to 50 more incredible years in business!
